As the founder of Poesy Gallery, Holly has been providing groups of talented craftspeople with the opportunity to bring their work to Poesy since 2012. Started with the vision of encouraging these craftsmen and promoting "Made in USA", Poesy’s collection is equivalent to some of the best art fairs that surface around town every Spring, Summer and Fall, but the difference is that Poesy offers a unique collection all year long.

Holly is a veteran artist, with her works sold in over 450 galleries in nearly every state including Hawaii and Alaska. She has sold her ceramics to many well-known companies including Meijer, Botanical Gardens (Grand Rapids, MI), the Biltmore Estate (Asheville, NC), Kohler Co. (Kohler, WI) and The Grand Hotel (Mackinac Island, MI). 

Many local celebrities have also been adorned in her handcrafted jewelry.Poesy – meaning poetic inspiration – is interpreted by Laginess as an artful spirit: a feeling.

“An art purchase really reflects a buyer’s personality,” said Laginess. “With this gallery I really enjoy spending time with my customers.  I also have a personal relationship my consignors, so a purchase will most likely come with a fun story of my own experience with the artist and their craft”.
